Goji berries, also known as the wolfberry, have been popular in Asian herbal medicine for over 5,000 years. Goji berries are native to Asia and are from the same family as the tomato and chilli.
Goji berries taste a little like prunes and they are slightly bitter with a sweet berry aftertaste.
This powder is a great addition to your favourite smoothie. It can alternatively be blended with juice, soy milk, yogurt or cereals.
The recommend daily dose is 1-2 teaspoons. As with all of the so-called superfood powders, we recommend that you start with the recommended dose and see how you feel before either increasing or decreasing your daily consumption over time.
